CV
Professional Summary
Heather Harker is a digital media executive with more than 20 years of experience in creative development, branded entertainment production and talent relations.
After working as the Head of Video for Ellen DeGeneres' digital studio throughout the show's final season, she harnessed her expertise to provide creative direction and lead talent booking for a number of clients. Whether bringing stars of the 00s together for a Tubi x TikTok live event or conducting interviews at Miami’s Bitcoin Conference, the end result is always the creation of compelling content that connects.
Her career spans the full evolution of digital media, starting with MySpace where she applied her early days in publicity at Paramount to help studio partners see the power of new media and promote their releases on the world’s largest social network. She then went on to create and produce original franchises like Artist on Artist, an interview series that paired unlikely entertainers together—Scarlett Johannson and Debbie Harry, Andy Samberg and Mike D, Fiona Apple and Zach Galifinakis—that became a viral success.
She next brought her deep understanding of digital to a number of publishers (Break Media, Buzz Media, and Natalie Portman’s MakingOf) to manage original and branded video production before landing at Aol. As a Creative Executive, she oversaw two slates of original, docu-style programming, brokered content partnerships with best-in-class brands including Carnival, Capital One, Chevy, Lexus and Remy Martin, and was the creative lead on two Emmy-nominated series: True Trans with Laura Jane Grace and Making A Scene with James Franco.
She comes to every project and client with a rich history of cultivating relationships within the entertainment and digital media industries and a track record of delivering high quality content and campaigns on time and within budget.
